HOW DO I GET A PRICE QUOTE OR AN APPOINTMENT?
There are two options for price quotes and appointments.
- Fill out the "price quote" form on the home page of our website. we will contact you as soon as possible with a quote on price and time. From there we can check artists availability and give you the deposit info. We accept Cash App, PayPal, and apple Pay for online deposits. Deposits should be placed within 10 minutes to avoid the time being taken. We typically have 3-5 people requesting appointments at the same time.
- In person consultation. You are welcome to come in anytime for a consultation with an artist during business hours. To work with a particular artist please text (210) 923-8618 for their schedule. We accept Cash App, PayPal, and apple Pay, cash and credit card for in person deposits. Without a deposit, we cannot secure an appointment. The artist cannot do a drawing without a deposit.
Tattoos that cannot be priced remotely will be asked to come in for a consultation.
IS THE DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?
No, deposits are non-refundable.
The deposit is used to secure the appointment time. If you make the appointment, it is applied towards the tattoo cost. If you need to reschedule, as long as you give at least a 24-hour notice, the deposit will remain on your account for 12 months from the date it was placed.
Without a 24-hour notice, the deposit will be used to compensate the artist for the time that was scheduled and the work they did on the design. They should not come to work for free.
CAN I DRINK, SMOKE, OR TAKE PILLS?
No to all questions. Unless "smoking" is referring to cigarettes.
State law prohibits us from tattooing or piercing anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
If you do show up drunk or high, your appointment will be rescheduled, and the deposit will go to the artist for their scheduled time.
HOW MUCH WILL COVID-19 IMPACT MY VISIT?
Not at all...
We have always done the following:
Limit one guest per client
Clean often and thoroughly
Stay sanitary by washing up and disinfecting often
Tools being new or sterilized and/or wrapped
Where necessary to prevent contamination
CAN I CALL OR MESSAGE THE ARTIST DIRECTLY?
For the most part, no.
Calling
We value our artists' time away from work with their family, so we do not give out their cell phone numbers. You are welcome to ask the shop to have them to contact you during one of their scheduled workdays.
Text
Same as above for texting the artists directly. However, you can always text the shop to get a message to an artist or setup a phone consultation.
Social media
If you have them on social media, you can DM them there.
Keep in mind that they do not check messages often at work or away from work. The quickest way to get ahold of them is through our receptionists.
WHY AREN'T YOU OPEN LATER THAN OTHER SHOPS?
Thats a long story....
When I first opened the shop in 2005, we were open 12pm-12am weekdays, 12pm-2am weekends. No one had any time for family or anything else. There was always free time at the shop while waiting for walk-ins on slower days. Fast forward to a few years ago... I decided to put in place what I always held true: Money should never more important than family. So, we are scaling back our hours little by little. Those who know me, know that I always work unless I'm asleep. I setup appointments for my artists all day and night. This way, they can work fewer hours, but still make what they would with the longer hours or even more, because their schedules stay full. This ensures that they keep the passion for tattooing, while being able to have time for family. In reality, who wants a tattoo from someone who has already been working for 12 straight hours? So, we end up with happy artists doing great tattoos, and keeping family first.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
We gladly accept credit/debit cards however, we do include a 2.5% surcharge. We also have surcharge free payment methods: Cash, Apple Pay, Venmo and Cash App.
WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE FOR A TATTOO?
Remove covering and wash with warm water and antibacterial soap. Don't scrub, but be sure to remove any blood or dry ink. Pat dry, then apply a small amount of antibiotic cream or lotion and rub in until completely dissolved into the skin. Do this 3-5 times per day for the first week. DO NOT scratch or peel off the scab. Do not soak in water, avoid exposure to the sun. Use sterile bandages if needed. Continue to apply lotion until skin is completely healed and smooth. Any touchups can be done once tattoo is completely healed. (4-6 weeks). Ibuprofen or other NSAID (use as directed on bottle) will help reduce swelling.
